Meet the Newly Rescued Dogs

Bundle of joy

This sweet pup was found in Coachella on a busy road. The finder kept her safe in her home while I was on my way to pick her up. Then a nice lady contacted me and offered to foster her. She took her to the groomer right away and told me the dog had lots of ticks. 🙁 but she was groomed right away! 🙂 No chip and also looked for owners but since we weren't able to find the owners, the foster decided to adopted her (after the 30 days, of course) 😀

All grommed up!

After she got spayed!

Isn't she so cute?

Meet the

new rescues

I fell in love with this dog! The sweetest thing ever! I so wanted to keep him! A lady contacted me and asked me if I could help her find him a foster or someone willing to adopt him. She saw a guy kicking him on his stomack outside the swap meet in Indio. She said he was selling his siblings and he was the only one left. She took him with her dad -- he is a veterinarian -- The next day, I went to pick him up. By the way, the lady that told me about this dog, ended up being the sister of a friend from High School...small world I know!) Now Oso Finn is happily living a good life with his mom and even has and instagram account! Please, check it out:

Meet

Oso

This sweet senior dog was found in Palm Desert between Cook St. and El Dorado. A nice girl named Maya kept him in her home until we tried to find a foster. He had a chip but were unable to locate their onwers or a foster. I sent a few emails to different shelters and Palm Springs Animal Shelter contacted me and said they could help. With the chip, they found out that he was adopted  from their shelter back in 2008.  Now, he is receiving vet care and hopefully finds her forever home soon! If you would like to adopt him, please contact the Palm Springs Animal Shelter.

Meet

Sweet luna

Meet Luna! A lady was having housing issues and was not able to keep Luna so she asked for help on Social Media. She asked if someone could care for her dog while she finds a place to live. Since she was not able to find a temporary foster, she had to take the decisioon to take the Luna to a shelter (she actually didn't take her. She had to ask her boyfriend to do it because she was not able to handle it) She was crying. When I found out about this, I made a post on NextDoor about Luna and a lady offered to pay for the shelter fees to get her out of there so we can bring to a foster. The owner and I went to get Luna out of the shelter right away and took her with a foster. After  a week or so, the owner contacted me and told me she was able to find a home and wanted to pick up Luna...so she did! Luna is back with her owner living in a happy and loving home! Happy Ending!

Meet

Oso

Osito was found in an apartment complex in Coachella by a very kind family who was caring for him. A lady who lives in those apartments contacted me and told me about the dog.  Later that day, I went to pick him up. I took him to a temporary foster while our rescue group tried to find the owners. After a few hours, a lady contacted me saying it was her dog! His name is Osito! <3 I took Osito back to her onwer that same day! He was so happy to see their owners! It was such a nice and happy ending!

Meet

Perry

My sister rescue sweet Perry! He is happy, healthy and living his best life! <3 I LOVE HIM!

Meet

Sweet Lily

Sweet Lily was found in the middle of the road in Thermal. A nice lady picked her up. She contacted me to met so I can check for chip and try to find a foster.  I was not able to find a foster and while I was on my way to the shelter, a lady sent me a message telling she could foster her while we figure out who is the owner.

The next day, a lady and I went back to the place where Lily was found to look for her puppies (It looked like she had puppies recently so we had to go and look for them) and we did find the puppies and the onwers! They relinquish Lily to us but they wanted to keep the puppies. The lady who went with me to look for the puppies, decided to adopt Lily! By the way, the puppies were already 2 months so the mom was no longer feeding them.

When I went to pick up Lily from the finder and was on my way to the shelter to check for chip.

At the Palm Springs Animal Shelter to check for chip. No chip so I took her with a foster.

Lily sleeping comfortably in her bed! and in her new and sweet home!

Meet

Mia

The owners were giving Mia for free on a Facebook post. I contacted the owners right away so the dog didn't end up with the wrong people. Cece, a lady from our group, offered to foster her until she found someone to adopt her. Now, she is now living in her forever home!

Meet the

Twinsies

A friend of mine sent me a message telling me she found these puppies inside a trash can behind the 99 cent store in Coachella. She took them with her and asked me if I knew someone who can care for them.  A lady, who owns a rescue, went to pick them up to bring to her rescue. 😀

Meet

Oreo

This is Oreo. He was found by a lady from the group. She was driving on Fred Waring, which is a very busy road by the way. Luckily, there were not a lot cars driving by since it was really early. The lady was able to stop and get Oreo inside her car.  If you know who this dog belongs to, please, contact me. The finder is fostering him.

Meet

Max

On February 21st, a lady sent me a message about another lady who was asking for help because her dog was in pain and not eating. We tried to contact a few people that could possibly help but since this happened on a weekend, no one was able to help. I then contacted Palm Springs Animal shelter and told them about the condition of the dog. There was blood on his stool and was crying in pain. He really needed urgent help. They told us to bring the dog in. Once there, he got fluids via IV, dextrose because he had hypoglycemia as well. He also had to go through surgery. It took about 7 days until Max started to eat again! Thanks to the care of Palm Springs Animal Shelter, Max was finally able to go home on March 2nd! If you are able, please donate to PS Animal Shelter! They have helped us save so many dogs! Thank YOU!!!

Meet the

siblings

These two sweet boys were found in Coachella. The lady who found them told us her son took care of them hoping to find the owners. After a few days, the son was not able to keep them in his house any longer because the owners of the house he was renting didn't let him have them there so he brough them back to his mom. The lady asked if we could help, so I went to pick them up and brought to Palm Springs Animal Shelter where they are now safe!

Meet

Buddy

Buddy was also found in Coachella City. He was found near an appartment complex. I went to pick him up and while I was on my way to take him to PS Animal Shelter (because I was not able to find a foster for him) When a lady contacted me and told me she could foster the dog, I was a bit unsure to leave the dog with her but I decided to do it since she said she had two kids that needed a dog. I told the lady to let me know in case it wasn't a good fit for them so I can go get him. The next day, I contact her and told me she took the dog to the CVAC. I was so mad she didn't contacted me first! My job is to help dogs and find a foster for them while we find the owners. I try my best not to take them to a shelter because I am afraid they could be put to sleep. Whenever we find a dog, I always call different shelters to give the the info of the dog in case any one is looking for them at their shelter. But this lady did the opposite of what I told her to do. Unfortunately, I was not able to do much to get him out of the shelter or get more info about him 🙁

Meet

Dickens!

This sweet pup was found in Cabazon. A couple found him wandering alone on the streets. They asked around and one gentleman told them that he saw a lady who dropped him off and drove away. I offered to go get him and bring to a foster. The couple drove to Palm Springs and I met them there. Since the dog had no chip, I took him to a foster who is now the official adopter. Yay 😀 ! They named him Dickens!  See pictures of his new life below!
